A. Jay spent his first five years in public accounting with Grant Thornton in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he worked with a variety of business and individual clients. In 2004, he returned to his native Tucson to join Busby Sanford Brady and specializes in providing tax and accounting services for individuals, privately-owned companies, estates, and trusts. A. Jay is committed to providing the best possible service to clients and takes a personal interest in working closely with them for their tax and business planning needs.
A. Jay holds a bachelor’s degree as well as a Master of Accountancy in Tax from Brigham Young University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. A. Jay lives with his wife of over 20 years. They have 5 children.
David Erskine
CPA/CITP, Partner
David’s interest in accounting began in college, when he started doing accounting work for a local grocery store. From this experience, his interest grew, establishing a career prioritizing clients’ financial well-being and success by dedicating himself to understanding their entire financial and tax picture. David works individually with clients to make sure each unique situation is handled with care for the best possible outcome.
Clients trust him to work collaboratively, creating comprehensive and thoughtful plans. He specializes in advising and managing risk for high net worth individuals and clients in transition.
David uses the tax code to help his clients minimize their tax liabilities and to improve their overall financial condition. David finds it fulfilling to address complex issues that arise from life-changing events.
In 2006 he joined Busby Sanford Brady CPAs and, in 2008, received his Certified Public Accountant license. Soon after, David received the AICPA Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) designation. David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accounts. He currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses and is also a licensed Insurance agent in the State of Arizona.
He lives with his wife of more than 20 years on Tucson’s east side along with their three children.
