A. Jay Busby began his career in accounting at Grant Thornton LLP in Salt Lake City, where he spent five years advancing from tax associate to tax manager. After building a strong foundation in public accounting, he moved to Tucson to join his father’s accounting practice. Over time, A. Jay became a partner at Busby Sanford Brady CPAs, PLC, continuing the family’s tradition of trusted client service.

With extensive experience as a tax partner and tax manager, A. Jay focuses his work on tax and accounting services for individuals, privately owned companies, estates, and trusts. His technical expertise and years of practice allow him to guide clients through a wide range of financial and tax matters with clarity and care.

A. Jay is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating magna cum laude, followed by a Master of Accountancy in Tax. His academic achievements built the foundation for the depth of knowledge he brings to clients today.
